Yuliya Antonova (b. 1994) is based in Umeå, Sweden

Yuliya Antonova is a film director of Chuvash and Tatar origin living and working in Sweden. She creates both documentary and fiction films, merging diverse cinematic influences into a unique directorial approach. Yuliya finds her inspiration in the French New Wave, Anton Corbijn’s black and white photography and the analogue tradition.
